Meat Tangent

The weather is warming up and it is time to grill!!! While I don’t support adverting on this forum, I can’t help but share a great deal when I find one. OmahaSteaks.com has “The American Celebration” with 4 Filets, 4 Top Sirloins, 4 Pork chops, 2 sole, 8 franks, 4 Steak burgers, 10 Potatoes au Gratin for only $59.99. Normally $215.

Select ORDER FROM MAILING – Enter 7819BBB – Select Free 6 Burgers & Cutlery.

Give them a fake phone number as they do tend to telemarket. Shipping is a little high (about $15,) but when you see the (reusable) container this comes in you will understand. Seriously, you can throw a party for twenty people for the cost of you and a date going to a crummy joint.

February is too early to be discussing 2008 Presidential politics or chasing storms. Well I’m glad I got that out of my system. I rarely chase nighttime events because you can’t see what is going on. The models that I looked at suggested the potential for massive damaging hail to the West of Tulsa, OK. I was stuck in meetings till 4:00 PM so I could not get to Childress, TX which was my tornado target. Congrats to Steve Miller (Texas) for a successful tornado intercept near McLean, TX.

Chase partners were Robert and Karen Hall and we spent about 3 hour in Weatherford, OK while basically nothing happened. Thanks to Steve Miller (Oklahoma) for nowcasting and questioning my sanity.

The chase technology worked well, and I’m taking this opportunity to roll out the new blog. This is beta, so let me know if something is broken.
