This is the storm chasing blog of Bob Hall. I became active in spotting and chasing after the May 3rd 1999 tornadoes tore through Oklahoma. During a typical chase season, I travel the back roads of Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Nebraska, and Iowa in pursuit of atmospheric fury. I hold amateur radio license WX5SKY and work closely with Eastern Oklahoma/Northwest Arkansas Skywarn. I am a member of the KTUL First Alert Storm Team. I was one of the very first chasers in the United States to be shooting High Definition 1080i Video (HDR-FX1) and several newer model cameras since.
I’m very lucky in that I get to chase with some of the best people in the business. This site is to share some of those stories, document as many chases as possible, and share an occasional rant. Click here for Bob’s real time location
